The strength of paper is controlled by the strength of the bond between fibers. The use of paper reinforcement agents is a good way to strengthen the bond between fibers, which can avoid the increase in paper tightness, temperature deformation, opacity, absorbency, breathability, and even tear resistance caused by the increase in beating degree. We produce “Cationic Polyacrylamide for Paper Industry”, and currently the main paper reinforcing agent used is cationic polyacrylamide. Cationic polyacrylamide is relatively inexpensive and has a significant reinforcing effect on paper, as well as a significant retention effect on fillers and fine fibers. The pH range of cationic polyacrylamide for papermaking can achieve good results from acidic to neutral. Adding cationic polyacrylamide as a dry strength agent to pulp can improve the bonding strength between fibers, making the paper have strong resistance to breakage, folding, and paper strength. As a wet strength agent, it has excellent performance, low dosage, and low cost. Adding a small amount can achieve good dry and wet strength.
